About us

Our Story
I had been working for two years in Scotland as Export Official Veterinarian when my employer at that time decided to withdraw their service from the area and requested me to move to England if I wanted to continue with them. It was autumn 2013. My clients with whom I managed to establish and build a thriving professional relationship were very dissatisfied with my director decision and sought for my advice. Disappointingly, I replied to them as I never thought I would, “I am very sorry but you would need to find another vet” Their answer, for which I will be always grateful, exceeded all my expectation, “but we have one, you!” and so Mistev Limited was founded. Simona Suleap, owner
ABOUT

Our Qualified Team of Vets

Our Export Official Veterinarians (EOV) have background in official control in food establishments, with vast knowledge in food law, including animal health and animal welfare rules.   The specific expertise of our Official Veterinarians in the legislative requirements on products of animal origin intended for human consumption is a distinctive ingredient that makes the service provided by Mistev Export Health Certification uniquely valuable to our customers.
Apart from the background in verification that the Food Business Operator (FBO) complies with the food law, our vets have the following qualifications, required for certification: OCQ(V) - ES - Essential Skills; OCQ(V) - EX - Exports General and OCQ(V) - PX - Product Exports.

Our Approach

Let us take you through our tried and tested approach
Our journey starts with understanding, as we discuss, question and most importantly listen to you. Whether you are an initiated into products of animal origin exports, a small and medium-sized enterprise aiming for placing their goods on a new market or a large corporation looking for the best export health certification service, we are here to help you to make it happen.
This stage involves of determining your specific needs and understanding the job profile you need to meet your expectations. It can be a face to face meeting, a phone conversation, a friendly change of emails, any manner that suits you and works for you. At the end of the briefing, we will design and offer customised an efficient solution within your budget.
The importing countries may have specific requirements in terms of the types of documentation and attestations required to accept imports from the UK, and these may differ from country to country, from product to product, or over time due to procedural, political or scientific development. Through a close relationship with the competent authorities as the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA), Food Standards Scotland (FSS) and the Food Standards Agency (FSA), we are keeping our customers informed with the latest updates about the export veterinary certification requirements.
Putting our customers in front and centre is essential to Mistev Limited, aiming for a special relation with every each of our clients. That personal connection is most keenly felt when things do not go as planned. Yes, things can develop in an undesirable way, when an outbreak hits the country; when the container is delayed in a traffic jam; when you need to redo all the paperwork because of a comma instead of a dot; when your importer is so “picky” and you need to ask for a dozen of certificates amendments just because a “3” may look like a “4”  and so many others unwanted situations. For us, the customer support is personal.
This step is designed with one key objective in mind: to create a demonstrable impact in your organisation. Whether it is to increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, save money or time or to ensure compliance with strict policies or legislation, we work with you to evaluate export health certification service provided and to achieve the outcomes you are after.
Check, check and check again! We like customer testimonials so we make sure that our customers are 100% happy with our service. If theres has been an issue with any part of our service, we want to know about it as soon as possible, not after the job is complete.
